It would have been nice to get an additional piece of black fabric to staple to the bottom just to close it up but that isn't a complaint in any way.

Firstly, it made a positive difference to the feel of my mattress. It is firmer and more supportive.
Secondly, it is well made and excellent quality. When I compare it to my old bed base, the difference is eye-opening. The Porto Bed Base is solid timber, not the flimsy pine slats of my old base, and the slats are closer together.
Lastly, it was a breeze to put together. I am a 60+ woman and am not handy at all. And I put it up with ease by myself.
